I have always wanted a bench by my front door and could never find one I liked (that I could afford). I had an old dresser that I converted.
Before, an old dresser that had been painted once, wood on the sides had dents and dings. |
The point of no return, I wanted to make sure the top still fit and the height was okay. |
I upholstered the top with some left over fabric I used to make roman shades in the adjoining living/dining room. |
LOVE the bench, not so sure about the old hardware. I'm thinking I am going to find different drawer pulls for this. |
